Africa Global Logistics Uganda Limited (formerly Bolloré Transport & Logistics Uganda) is a major multimodal logistics provider and part of the global MSC Group. The company was rebranded as Africa Global Logistics (AGL) in Uganda in November 2023 following its acquisition by the MSC Group. It is widely recognized for its integrated logistics network that connects Uganda to global trade corridors. AGL is specifically known for its role as a Tier-1 logistics contractor for the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) and the Tilenga project, as well as for its significant investments in national infrastructure like the Namanve container depot.

The company offers a comprehensive range of end-to-end supply chain and industrial logistics services:

  • Multimodal transport: Managing the movement of goods via road, rail, air, and sea through an extensive regional network.

  • Oil and gas logistics: Operating a specialized subsidiary, Integrated Logistics Services Tilenga, to provide technical support for upstream energy projects.

  • Customs clearing and forwarding: Handling all regulatory documentation and tax assessments for international import and export shipments.

  • Warehousing and storage: Operating 10 acres of conventional and value-added warehousing space, including Inland Container Depots (ICDs).

  • Project and out-of-gauge cargo: Transporting specialized heavy industrial equipment, such as 80-tonne vessels and 100-tonne power transformers.

  • Agricultural logistics: Developing logistical hubs to support commercialized production and exports for Northern Uganda.

  • Event logistics: Serving as an official logistics partner for major continental events, including the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

  • Value-added services: Providing technical quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) training and industrial leadership courses.
