UGACOF Ltd (a subsidiary of the Swiss-based Sucafina Group) is a leading coffee processor and exporter in Uganda. Established in 1994, it has grown to become one of the country's dominant coffee players, recently setting a new record by exporting over one million bags of coffee in 2025. In October 2025, the company was named "Best Exporter" by the Uganda Ministry of Agriculture (MAAIF).

• Market Leadership: As of June 2025, UGACOF held the highest market share among Ugandan coffee exporters at 12.18%.

• Processing Infrastructure: The firm operates a robust infrastructure network, including:

1. Six Arabica Wet Mills (the newest completed in 2024).

2. Two Dry Mills and extensive warehousing in Kampala.

3. Eight Robusta Hulling Stations and collection centers across Central and Western Uganda, including locations in Kalungu, Kinoni, and Rukungiri.

• Specialty Arabica Focus: The company has been instrumental in optimizing specialty Arabica production, particularly in the Rwenzori Mountains region.

• Sustainability & Farmer Support: Through Sucafina's "IMPACT" responsible sourcing program, UGACOF provides agricultural extension services, training, and financing to its network of smallholder farmers.

• Traceability & Compliance: In late 2025, the company is heavily focused on EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) compliance and "Farm to Roaster" transparency.

• Workforce: Employs over 180 full-time staff and up to 900 temporary support staff during peak seasons.
