Agroking Uganda Limited is a dynamic agro-ecological social enterprise founded on September 16, 2019. Headquartered in Mubende, the company specializes in producing nutritious, fortified, and aflatoxin-free maize products while promoting sustainable farming practices and circular economy principles. It operates as a private limited liability company dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers and enhancing food security across Uganda.

• Core Products: The company’s primary product line includes fortified maize flour, premium maize grains, and maize bran. It also deals in sourced produce like beans, groundnuts, and cassava products, including flour and chips.

• Circular Economy and Sustainability: Agroking champions a zero-waste philosophy, repurposing maize by-products into animal feed and organic fertilizers. It focuses on climate-resilient agriculture to help farmers adapt to environmental shocks.

• Farmer Empowerment: The enterprise works with a network of over 400 smallholder farmers across seven districts. It provide capacity building, technical training through agronomists, and "soft loans" in the form of advanced inputs like seeds and tools, which are repaid with harvested maize.

• Supply Chain and Agri-Inputs: Beyond processing, it offers a wide range of agricultural supplies, including fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation systems, and farm machinery.

• Impact and Recognition: In 2025, the company received $15,000 in seed funding from African Food Changemakers to scale its monthly production capacity toward a 50-ton milestone. It currently employs a dedicated team of seven staff members.
